У березні ГО “Інфекційний контроль в Україні” Ольга Мартиненко та Ірина Маслєннікова відвідали 13 закладів первинної медичної допомоги у Дніпропетровській, Запорізькій, Львівській Миколаївській, Одеській та Чернігівській областях, які включені до проєкту підтримки водопостачання, санітарії та гігієни (WASH) в рамках програми USAID’s Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance (ВНА), яку впроваджує Project HOPE. Метою візитів було проведення тренінгів з двох тем, з яких починається інфекційний контроль і WASH. Це гігієна рук та організація прибирання і дезінфекції.
У тренінгах взяли участь лікарі, медичні сестри, молодші медичні сестри та представники адміністрації. Результатом тренінгу в кожному закладі стали стандартні операційні процедури, розроблені для контексту кожного закладу, а значить, максимально реалістичні.
Думаємо, усі 623 учасники тепер розрізняють показання до миття та антисептичної обробки рук і розуміють, що таке безвідерний метод і чому дерев’яною шваброю та ганчір’ям мити підлогу не слід. А головне – впевнені, що це не дрібниці.
In March, NGO “Infection Control in Ukraine” Olha Martynenko and Iryna Maslennikova visited 13 primary health care facilities in Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhia, Lviv, Mykolaiv, Odesa and Chernihiv regions, which are included in the project to support water supply, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) within the framework of USAID’s program Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance (BHA), which is implemented by Project HOPE. The purpose of the visits was to conduct trainings on two topics, starting with infection control and WASH. This is hand hygiene and the organization of cleaning and disinfection.
Doctors, nurses, junior nurses and representatives of the administration took part in the trainings. The result of the training in each facility was standard operating procedures developed for the context of each facility, which means that they are as realistic as possible.
We think that all 623 participants now distinguish the indications for washing and antiseptic treatment of hands and understand what the bucketless method is and why you should not wash the floor with a wooden mop and rags. And the main thing is to be sure that these are not trifles.
