Our weekdays in Okhtyrka district of Sumy region (March 2024)

This is what our weekdays have looked like over the past month and a half in Sumy’s Okhtyrka district and its Kyrykivka, Chupakhivka, and Boromlya communities.

Our mobile clinic was rocked by explosions several times – but work is work. Our teams handled elderly bedridden patients, many who went without treatment for many years, along with men, women, and children who have forgotten what peaceful sleep means.

We were also in the nearby community of Velyka Pysarivka in September, when it was “calm” there, meaning explosions were only heard regularly, not seen.

Together with humanitarian organization Corus International, we work with the support of the Humanitarian Fund for Ukraine (UHF).
